On February 4, Miles Mykkanen joins pianist Eric Huebner for two monumental song cycles from the Lieder canon: Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte and Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin.

After working on both cycles for two summers at the Franz Schubert Institut and three summers at the Marlboro Festival, Miles will finally perform both cycles in the Slee Visiting Artist Series at the University at Buffalo.

Eric Huebner is the pianist of the New York Philharmonic and has appeared as soloist and chamber musician at Carnegie Hall, Ojai Festival, Merkin Hall, and (le) Poisson Rouge. He is an Associate Professor of Music at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and is an adjunct faculty at The Juilliard School.
