Ariadne at The Metropolitan Opera

On March 1, 5, 8, 12 and 17, Miles Mykkanen returns to The Metropolitan Opera for the third time this season as Brighella in Otto Schenk’s production of Ariadne auf Naxos under the baton of Marek Janowski. Lise Davidsen sings the title heroine alongside Brandon Jovanovich as Bacchus, Brenda Rae as Zerbinetta, and Isabel Leonard as the Composer. Johannes Martin Kränzle sings the Music Master and the legendary Thomas Allen returns to The Met as the Major-Domo.

This production and cast will be featured in a Met: Live in HD transmission in movie theaters around the world on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
